For my second work term I worked for the City of Surrey in the Parks department. I was part of the Natural Areas Team which covers all of the parks and urban forests in the city. I worked outdoors every single day and enjoyed it very much. During my first few weeks I was mainly doing planting maintenance which involved removing invasive species around planted trees.
