Water is the most critical resource and one that connects landscapes from the hillslopes through the fluvial network to downstream environments. 

We work on a number of problems to better understand the processes by which water moves and creates aquatic habitats, and we are developing options for the protection and conservation of aquatic systems. 

Collectively we cover the chemical, physical, and biological sciences needed for the wise management of aquatic systems.
