The Faculty of Forestry welcomes applications from strong students interested in our award winning and innovative Bachelor of Science degrees.  We guarantee admission to high school students who:

We strongly encourage high school students to apply early and to submit necessary documents as soon as they are available.  UBC evaluates applications upon receipt of interim grades; students can therefore be admitted prior to completion of their Grade 12 courses.

The table below specifies the guaranteed admission criteria for each of our undergraduate degrees.  

We encourage all interested high school students to apply even if they do not meet the minimum guaranteed admission average.  In some programs, enrolment levels and demand for graduates may allow us to accept additional students.

1These are only the courses required for applicants following the BC/Yukon high school curriculum. High school students following other curricula should refer to the course requirements listed on the youbc website and contact us for more details.
