The diameter increment models have been calibrated for use in the Interior Cedar-Hemlock (ICH) and Interior Douglas-fir (IDF) biogeoclimatic zones, using Permanent Sample Plot data from the Kamloops, Cariboo and Nelson Forest Regions, the height growth models.

The models predict 10-year inside bark diameter increment for nine coniferous species and two hardwoods as a function of stand, tree and site attributes.
